I NEED ASSISTANCE/STUFF!
An invitation from Re-Source: We Want to start by expressing how sorry we are for what you are experiencing. We are a group of friends who started an organization called Re-Source in 2017 in response to the fires in Santa Rosa California. During the years post fire there, we were able to help more than 200 families and individuals gather items that helped them rebuild and recover. This effort is supported by a group of Maui residents including some who started Re-Source in 2017.
We understand you may not be ready for lots of items, and that your needs will evolve as time passes. We will be here to support and help throughout the process. We’d like to start by offering to provide delivery of some of the items you need (or just want) RIGHT NOW, that might make you or your kids smile, take away a bit of stress, make the transition easier – whatever you can think of… We’ll pack this up and deliver it to you.
For example: special toys or books that were lots, sports gear to get you back on your exercise regimen, clothes and shoes you would like to replace, electronics, instruments, etc. Our goal is to help you have a little bit of “normal” right now. We will source these items and deliver them in the next two to three weeks. And – as things evolve and you need more stuff – just come back and ask for it!
